All are welcome to join us for World Wetlands Day 2011. There will be tours of the Ulupō Heiau, Kawainui and Hāmākua Marsh Complex, talks, exhibits, Hawaiian plant and food sales, entertainment, and learning activities for the whole family. Exhibits at Windward YMCA and Faith Baptist Church. Parking at Kailua Methodist Church off Kailua Rd. (Sponsored in part by Windward Ahupua`a Alliance and HI Department of Land & Natural Resources) Admission is free.
We'll have a booth, so please stop by! We'll be partnering with our friends at Surfrider Foundation Hawaii.
